There are two main causes for leaks appearing in your central heating system. This leads to pipes being expanded and contracted because of the temperature and ice developing inside them and this leads to the metal eventually warping and cracking. Or alternatively there’s been corrosion on the inside of the heating pipes that has happened a result of extensive lime scale weakening the metal until, again, a crack appears.
